Couples Therapy: Mothers Day Edition

Sorry this event has been and gone

  • Sat 12 May ’18, 7:00pm – 9:00pm

darkroom, 336 St Asaph Street, Christchurch

Couples' Therapy is a comedy night featuring comedy couple Liv McKenzie and Cameron McLeod. They talk to the audience and take questions on everything there you could ever want to know about relationships. This evening is a special Mothers' Day edition, where they will discuss everything about their relationships with their mums. To make it even, they will then get both their mums up on stage, after probably a bottle of wine each. So bring your mum to this one-off show where we say thank you.

Doors 7pm, Show 7:30pm

About The Acts:

Liv Mckenzie -
Described as “an unexpected delight” and “one to watch”, Liv McKenzie is an exciting up and coming comedian in the Christchurch comedy scene. She used to live in New York, but don’t worry, she’ll bring that up every 10 seconds so you don’t forget.

Best Newcomer - 2016 Christchurch Comedy Awards
2nd Place - 2016 South Island Raw Comedy Competition
Best Female Comedian - Go Media Comedy Carnival
Not As Funny As She Thinks She Is - Her mum

Cameron McLeod -
I am a comedian based out of Christchurch, New Zealand, performing in Christchurch and festivals around the country. I’ve performed in hundreds of shows, bringing my high energy style to audiences, treating them with jokes and stories. Having performed at the Dunedin, Auckland, Wellington, Nelson and Hastings Fringe Festivals, and also in my hometown's Christchurch Comedy Carnival, I say I've been around a fair bit. On stage I talk about a multitude of things including toxic masculinity, death and how great life is. Alright it doesn't sound outright funny, but come to a show and find out.

Nominated Best Comedian- Christchurch Comedy Awards.
