Hi .....
to any / all, friends / neighbours, in this conservation week(end!) Who feel inspired to help Restore a small, 5 acre patch of very weedy bush in Coopers Beach-bordering Mangonui.
I spent six hours last weekend-very satisfying dropping Wooly nightshade, lantana etc, and planting some of the 25 Totara seedlings, etc, which I am holding.

I would love a helper-or ten!, To keep me motivated, especially to chop the wooly nightshade branches which are again seeding prolifically. (I have beaut Long handled saws.)
We-(a DOC team) have fenced off the area with 1000 Volts,so the cattle can no longer chew- off all the emerging natives, and stamp and pollute the Stream edges.

Other neighbours in Paradise road and all the rest of coopers Beach must have hundreds of seedling tobacco plants growing in their yards and gardens, every year, as I do, so poisoning (or felling) these is a high priority.

I would love some help-anybody / any time-just ring me to make sure I am home
