A free workshop for children aged 6 to 12 who have a parent or carer with a cancer diagnosis.

A mixture of therapy and fun, this workshop aims to provide children with tools and resources to build resilience and coping skills around the impact of cancer on them and their family/whānau.

Topics covered will include:
- What is cancer?
- Changes in family structures and relationships
- Feelings, emotions and communication.

The workshop will be facilitated by Debbie Mills-Henry, a family therapist and play specialist alongside Penny Parsons, a Cancer Society supportive care nurse with a background in pediatric nursing.

Registration is essential.
