Celebrate Halloween in scary style with the crew of Weta Workshop! Join us for our Halloween-themed workshops or venture out for the Fright Night itself: the ghouls are coming out to play with a pitch-black Halloween tour! Spare pair of undies advised.

Behind-the-Screams Workshops:

27 October:
Prepare for the most wicked night of the year with one of our creative workshops, suitable for spookers of all ages.

Masked Killers & Thrillers Workshop – 9AM or 12PM
Whether you choose a wide-grinned ghoul, horned demon, or wicked witch, learn how to sculpt exaggerated facial features onto a mask using modelling putty.

Movie Blood & Chainmaille Workshop – 2PM
Step into our Kitchen of Horror and learn to mix buckets of fake movie blood. Afterwards, create unique Weta Workshop chainmaille, as worn by the armies of The Lord of the Rings!

Sculpting Scars & Scrapes Workshop – 3PM
No humans were harmed in the making of this workshop! With the guidance of our crew, learn the art of creating convincing wounds using silicone gels and special effects make-up.

Price per workshop:
Children must be accompanied by an adult aged 16 years or older.

Duration: 1 hour

Where to go:
Our behind-the-screams workshops take place at our off-site group experience space located on Park Road – just a five-minute walk from the Weta Cave. Please arrive 15 minutes before your experience starts.
