Aro Creative puts up a stage with some easy tunes at Frank Kitts Park to push the boat out on Wellington's first regional holiday of 2018.

This stage is one part of a larger event with local artists, food, enjoying oneself and unflappable views of wellington's spectacular waterfront. It's going to be swimming!

Sky Canvas - http://smarturl.it/SKYCANVAS
Sky Canvas are a 5-piece kaleidoscopic prog/soul-hop fiesta, hailing from Wellington, NZ. Stirring, charged vocals weave vivid stories and blend dynamically with colourful synth/guitar textures and fiery grooves. With their 2017 self-titled debut EP, Sky Canvas brings together an eclectic cluster of songs and sounds that offer an exhilarating insight into the journey of their music so far.

Heavy Chest - soundcloud.com/heavvychest
heavychest.bandcamp.com

Lofted as a solo project in 2016, Heavy Chest is now backed by a bass player/backing vocalist and drummer who frame an all-powerful live set. After releasing their album "Pre Heat" the band has concerted around wellington, conspicuously opening for aussies Bootleg Rascal. They play at art galleries, house parties and cocktail lounges.

Ludus - soundcloud.com/ludus_music
