Ticket Information:

  • Free Admission

Starting at 10am - with readings, prayers and music for Armistice Day, sung by the Cathedral Choir.
Pausing at 10.50am for the 100 gun salute, two minutes silence and joining the Roaring Chorus with a celebratory quarter peal by the Cathedral bell ringers.

Music by Henry Walford Davies - his Short Requiem, written in 1915, John Tavener's Exhortation for Double Choir to Laurence Binyon's poem 'For the Fallen' and the newly written Hymn of Peace by Ally Barrett.

Preacher: The Dean, the Very Reverend David Rowe.
