Praise the monks. The Okere Falls Strong Beer Festival is back in true German style over Queen’s Birthday Weekend. Join us for an action-packed night of beer-tasting, bonfires, and live music.

In winter, when it’s still too cold to enjoy a lager or pilsner, the beers of choice are dark, strong, malty & warming. These beers were first produced during the ‘Strong Beer Season’ (Starkbierzeit), a tradition begun by 17th century Paulaner monks brewing what they called ‘Holy Father Beer’ (Sankt Vater Bier).

For the best experience, we recommend coming with a friend or two and tasting your way through our Strong Beer Passport including a stunning line-up of fantastic beers - dark and malty to flavour packed IPAs. Ciders and Wines and non-alcholic drinks will also be on sale.

$20 Adult Entry, 17 & Under allowed admission free of charge when accompanied by their parent or legal guardian
