In this 6 week course you will learn techniques to calm yourself; to deal with stress, and to step out of stressful thought patterns. Yoga postures, breathing techniques, concentration, meditation and deep relaxation are very effective techniques to release stress.

Some benefits of yoga practice are:
- Slow and deep breathing which has a beneficial effect on the whole body as well as on the calmness of the mind;
- Strengthening and balancing of the nerve system
- The heart rate slows down;
- Muscles relax
- Blood flow to the brain increases and blood pressure may stabilise

*If you practise every day for just some minutes you will soon experience the benefits which a regular yoga practice can give you for coping with stress.
