Yoga for Beginners with Jasmin Amrita.

Yoga for Beginners is an eight-week course designed for absolute beginners or people wanting to get back into yoga after not having practised for a while. The course will introduce you to the foundations of yoga systematically and safely, starting slowly and gradually building up in each class. An introduction to the history, philosophy and different paths of yoga will be included. At the end of the course you can feel confident about joining group classes, or starting your own home practice, you will even be given a Graduate's Guidebook to help you! (for those who have attended 5+ classes)
Everything is demonstrated and explained in detail, in a friendly and relaxed environment allowing for questions and comments at any time. You will be carefully guided and encouraged to work at your own pace, in appreciation of everyone’s uniqueness.

Yoga is a complete, holistic system using movement, postures, breathing & relaxation for vibrant health of body, mind and spirit. It can be used as a powerful tool for transformation, or simply as a great way to stretch and relax. If you have aches & pains, injuries, other physical limitations or health issues, stress causing disruption, depression, or generally want to feel fitter, calmer and more flexible and energised in your life, practicing yoga can help.

About the Instructor
Jasmin Amrita is a Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga) who was initiated into the powerful and practical traditions of Classical Hatha & Tantra Yoga. She learnt and developed her teaching ethos through full immersion with disciplined schedules of study, practice and teaching while living for months, and in some cases years, in five different Ashrams in India, Canada and New Zealand. She has continued to learn, practice and teach around the world, including living and working in Ashrams, Monasteries and Yoga Centres in India, Nepal, Canada & New Zealand. Jasmin now lives in Dunedin, NZ with her family and takes satellite missions away every now and then.

Cancellation Policy After Enrolment:

If you cancel your booking after enrolment and before the day the course starts, we will reimburse you 50% of the course costs.
If you cancel your booking after the course starts, we will not reimburse you your fees.
If another booking fills your place, or someone on the wait-list can attend, we may consider a refund according to the policies above.
