This workshop on two subsequent Wednesday nights ($25 each) is a great offer for anyone who would like to find out more about themselves and how they can be a positive influence in their relationships with others within or outside of their work environment.

Come on one or both Wednesdays.

Wednesday, 27th September (7 pm – 9 pm), Western Stars Training room.

Bias & Assumptions:
- How do bias and unconscious bias impact our leadership and relationships?
- How can we uncover and minimise our own biases?

Having Great Conversations:
- How to give and receive feedback while maintaining self-esteem?
- How to apply emotional intelligence in honest conversations?

Wednesday, 4th October (7 pm – 9 pm)
Resolving Conflict:
- Applying the Resolving Differences Model© to prevent and resolve conflict
- How do we break out of the spiral of negative emotions?

Applying Emotional Leadership:
- Tips & Tricks for being an inclusive leader
- Applying Emotional Leadership attributes at work

Emotions are an important part of who we are. Our emotions drive our actions, perceptions and impact our well-being at home and at work. You can learn how to manage your own emotions and those of others. Positive people are healthier and live longer. People around you are more positive due to your positive influence.

This workshop is about learning how to deal with people who are different. Each person is different in regards to their background and personality, with their own preferences and views on what is the right thing to do. Each person is likely to react to the same situation with very different emotions. Equip yourself with some practical tools to become the best Emotional Leader you can.

Stefan Doll (MBA, CMHRINZ) - Human Resources and Diversity Consultant:
Stefan has 20 years of experience as a human resources manager, trainer and consultant in Europe and New Zealand in the FMCG industry, manufacturing, local government and professional services. His degrees in industrial psychology (Germany) and MBA (UK) laid the foundation for many successfully resolved “people challenges” in a business context.

Stefan is a published author and co-founder of the NZ Institute for Diversity and Wellbeing. Building on his experience from working in corporates and leadership coaching he developed a practical tool to resolve differences between people which is now successfully applied by many of his clients. Good things come out of good relationships on a personal and business level.

Nitin D.C. (B.E.- Mechanical, ACSE-IBM, PGHRM) - Corporate Coach and Leadership Consultant
Nitin has 17+ years of experience in Human Resources Management & Software Development having lead as Head of Business Partnering and Head of Talent Acquisition in Samsung R&D – India.

He has also worked in Samsung Electronics South Korea as International Recruitment Manager. He started his career as a Software Engineer having worked for top MNCs like Dell.

He has a flavour of Technology and Management having done his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, IBM Certified in Advanced Software Engineering and Post Graduation in Human Resources Management, after getting a Management degree joined Samsung R&D – India and worked for 11 years including one Year at Samsung Electronics in South Korea.

Nitin is a published author of the book titled ‘Human Connect through Emotional Intelligence’. He has built expertise in Emotional Management through effectively championing Organization culture and Leadership development at Samsung and significantly contributing towards Employee relations and Managerial effectiveness throughout his career at Samsung, which is one of the most challenging and demanding Organization when it comes to performance and result.
