Many people like the idea of being healthy, fit, and strong.

Many people embark on training programs, and diet plans and many of those people fail - regardless of how much they want it. Why is that? Have you ever had that unexplainable urge to binge on things you know aren’t conducive to your goals? Have you ever had the option to either get up and exercise, or stay in bed, and chosen the later? Which later leaves you with feelings of guilt?

Or perhaps if you are a coach, you see it in your clients. Where it does not matter how perfect of a plan you give them, they just don’t stick to it. Or some clients go forward and then backwards over and over again, never quite making it. Sometimes they reach a certain point and the weight goes right back on again.

More often than not, there are underlying issues that run deeper than that person just being ‘lazy’ or ‘not committed.’ ‘When It’s Not About the Food’ will delve into often unaddressed roadblocks and reasons why people self-sabotage, sometimes consciously and many times unconsciously.

Human beings behaviour is at times driven by the primitive survival part of the brain, and as a trainer, you need an understanding of this. ‘When It’s Not About the Food’ will also look at the impact lifestyle factors, stress and hormones have on the ability to progress.

Human beings arguably at their most basic level are comprised of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects. Most trainers and coaches work primarily with the physical. Your clients, however, present with all parts of themselves, and there are many mental emotional and spiritual reasons why they may not get the results they are hoping for with you. It is, therefore, important that you know what to do when this happens.

Day 1 - You will learn:
