Chicago (And More!) Style Improv for All Levels

Level 1 - Scenework

Learn the art of improvisation influenced by training centers in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City. These classes are perfect for the beginning improviser or for more experienced improvisers wanting to learn new techniques and forms. Rooted in traditional theatre, these classes focus on character and scene development. Perfect for students looking to deepen their understanding of improvisation or for students simply looking to have fun and gain confidence in everyday life. Come unlock your creative potential! All levels of experience are welcome.
$180 - 6 weeks
Classes run Mondays 25/9 - 30/10, 7:00PM-9:00PM

About the instructor
Sarah Kirwin has been teaching and performing improvisation professionally for 20 years. Most recently Sarah headed the advanced improv program at one of largest theatre complexes in the US, the Denver Centre for Performing Arts. She has taught and performed in places such as New York, Chicago, and Austin. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Sarah was been named Colorado's Best Female Improvisor and has made numerous television and radio appearances. Sarah specializes in Applied Improvisation, teaching communication and leadership skills to professionals and businesses. Sarah recently moved to New Zealand and is excited to share her love and vast knowledge of improv with the Kiwis!
