The shops, studios, cafes and restaurants are Open 7 days a week but on the weekend The Victoria Park Village comes alive with an assortment of different shops, cafes, food and drink and stall holders selling crafts, people holding workshops - no two weekends are the same!

The Village is open 7 days a week and is in the process of reopening after an extensive $22M refurbishment. The Pop-Up Mini Market is another part of the attraction of VPV (Victoria Park Village).and operate every weekend from 10am.

Come and have a look and revisit each week as the Village continues to grow and new events, shops, eateries and attractions are added!

...while you are walking around the category 1 historically protected Village with your coffee in hand you will see a cliff that the Village backs onto, this is the original Auckland coastline before the land was reclaimed, today you can still have lunch while sitting under the Pohutukawa trees that would have hung over the sea.

Built between 1890 and 1905 the precinct was used to house the horses that pulled the carts around the City streets to pick up the rubbish from Queen St and surrounds, the horses would return to the precinct and the rubbish was burned in the large brick chimney you see today - this generated enough electricity to run the street lamps back on Queen Street.

The original ramp that took the horses up to the 2-storey stables is now the Celebrity Walk and you can see a number of famous New Zealanders have left their hand, foot or hoof prints on The Walk
This is one of the oldest - if not the oldest - remaining buildings and precincts in its almost original condition left remaining in Auckland City - so while attending one of the many events at Victoria Park Village take the time to have a look and immerse yourself in a piece of Heritage Auckland.
