The new Victoria University Folk Music Club is hosting a mini festival in Wellington city over the weekend of 29 September to 1 October 2017.

We’ve got two ticketed events: a Friday night gig, and a Saturday night ceilidh, and the rest of the weekend will be based around sessions, with a Saturday afternoon workshop. You’re welcome to come to as much or as little as you like, and feel free to get in touch if you’ve any questions.

All the info at the website.
Friday evening.

We're very excited to present as our headline act Gillian Boucher and Bob McNeil, two award-winning musicians who offer tunes and songs from Canada, Scotland, New Zealand and beyond.

Support from local youngsters Buíon, who between them have experience in the worlds of traditional Irish, Scottish and Canadian music, Highland piping and contemporary composition.

Saturday evening:
Ceilidh with the Vic Uni Ceilidh Band and guest caller Caoimhe McKearney from Ireland.

Sessions:
Session venues booked throughout the weekend for Irish and Scottish tunes. Come and check out the website for info.
