The theme of Universal Brotherhood or spiritual kinship, ever present in spiritual wisdom down through the ages, and central to modern Theosophy, is rooted in the qualities of the Heart.

We hear how to cultivate these rich and beautiful qualities, and the profound effect they can have in our lives.

Renee Sell is a long time student of Theosophy and has been active in the Theosophical Society in many different capacities over the years, working locally at her branch, speaking nationally and is currently Vice President of the National Society.

Renee has coordinated the Theosophical Order of Service in New Zealand since 2003 and has been part of many projects through this avenue of service. Renee’s key focus is the practical application of the Ancient Wisdom in our own lives so as to bring about transformation within the individual, which in turn will affect all those around us.

This public talk was hosted by the Wellington Branch of the Theosophical Society and sponsored by the Theosophical Society in New Zealand (TSNZ). It will be followed by a Follow-Up Discussion on Tuesday, 13 June 2017, facilitated by Simon Webber, President of Wellington Branch at the same venue.

The Theosophical Society promotes an underlying unity of life; it fosters religious and racial understanding by encouraging the study of religion, philosophy and science; and the enquiry of the spiritual aspect of life. The Society stands for a complete freedom of individual search and belief while promoting a willingness to examine any concept and belief with an open mind and respect for other people’s understanding.

All are welcome.
Join us for an inspiring evening for a discussion and a chat over a cup of tea and biscuits afterwards!
