Learning a second language is never easy. In the following three sessions, we are going to take a closer look at this seemingly daunting language. Is it really as hard as we are thinking? The answer might surprise you!

Session One: Understanding the Chinese pronunciation

Why Chinese sounds so strange? What is the Chinese phonetic system? Does Chinese have an alphabet? Are they entirely different from English sounds? Do I have to learn the tones? What’s the better way to learn it?...

In this one-hour session, let’s explore the answer for all these commonly asked questions about Chinese pronunciation. If you are a new learner, this session can help you to get on the right track from the very beginning. You are also welcome to join in if you have any questions on Chinese pronunciation.
