Acclaimed writers – and long-time friends – Tusiata Avia and new Poet Laureate Selina Tusitala Marsh each create sonorous prose and poetry that weave together the voices of the living and dead, the past and the present.

They’ve been looking for a chance to interrogate each other, and here’s your opportunity to hear the results.

Join two of New Zealand’s leading writers as they discuss their own work, as well as considering each other’s. Chaired by Alyson Baker.

Part of the Nelson Arts Festival Page & Blackmore Readers and Writers programme.

Come early to order coffee - when the talking begins the machine is turned off!
Continue the conversation at 10am on both Tuesdays after the weekend sessions, with discussion groups at Nelson’s Elma Turner Library.
