In the past 20 years, hundreds of planets have been discovered orbiting stars other than our Sun - so - called exoplanets.

In addition, several thousand exoplanet candidates have been identified by NASA’s Kepler Mission. Roland Idaczyk from the Wellington Astronomical Society discusses how exoplanets are found and what these new worlds could look like.
