Transformation Hatha Yoga is gentle and relaxing, helping towards finding balance within your body, mind, and spirit. It helps to relieve stress and to improve your posture and breathing, both so important for your wellbeing. Transformation Hatha Yoga can be a step towards self-healing and self-mastery by improving your concentration, mindfulness, breathing and sleep.

The classes are held at a retreat centre in Pleasant Road, on the border of Glen Eden and Titirangi. They include gentle, yet powerful in-depth Transformation Hatha Yoga exercises (asanas), which help to develop strength and flexibility, breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditative relaxation techniques - suitable for beginners to advanced. These methods help you to relax and manage daily stresses better and can assist in recovering from injury.

Stresses come in many forms - both physical, mental or emotional - from computer work, long hours of sitting, working with people, driving or simply juggling many things. Yoga helps you to relax and bring your body and mind into greater harmony and balance. These classes can also help with developing a connection with your whole self - body, mind and Spirit through self awareness. You may like to learn a meditation and mindfulness practice alongside Transformation Hatha Yoga, to help you take the awareness and inner Peace into your daily life.

Classes are kept small to accommodate the needs of all students. The teacher has over 20 years experience of practising and teaching yoga and is an accredited teacher with the Self Realization Meditation Healing Centre in the UK.
