One of the ways to get involved is to donate some of your time at one of our regular Working Bees. At the working bees, we manage the native plants in the nursery, we do some weed control, we plant out tree species and we construct and maintain the tracks.

For this working bee, we will be focusing on pruning along the rest of our track network. While the tracks are easy for one person to mow, the pruning takes quite a lot of effort for an individual, but easy if there's a group of keen helpers!

For working bees, you can meet us at the interpretation board shelter next to the Tapu Te Ranga Marae car park, up the driveway signposted at the end of Danube St, Island Bay.

We will be going ahead with the working bee regardless of weather.
If you have trouble finding us contact: 022 127 7361

This year, we will be focussing on getting our new track up to a standard where it can be officially opened. We'll keep you posted about that and we would love you to make it to one of the bees we have organised.
