The Department of Conservation and Toyota have partnered up to provide an awesome activity programme for kids to learn about nature, earn cool rewards and go on epic family adventures!

For Conservation Week 2017, get a team together and take part in an epic Toyota Kiwi Guardian adventure at White Pine Bush Scenic Reserve. Find the White Pine Bush - Toyota Kiwi Guardian post, take a photo of your team at the Guardian Post, upload your photo to #KiwiGuardians, go online to collect your medals and enter the draw to win a real live kiwi experience for four people at the Pan Pac Kiwi Creche, Lake Opouahi, Tutira!

How to play:
- Get your team together. Maximum of 4 people per team.
- Before your trip, go online at www.kiwiguardians.co.nz and download the White Pine Bush Toyota Kiwi Guardian map.
- Visit the White Pine Bush Scenic Reserve - Toyota Kiwi Guardian site, find the Guardian Post and write down the codeword.
- Take a team photo showing the White Pine Bush Toyota Kiwi Guardian post in the photo.
- Go online to www.kiwiguardians.co.nz and enter the codeword to claim your kiwi guardian medal!
- Share your photos with us on social media using the hashtag #KiwiGuardians and you could feature on the DOC website.
- Email your team details – name of team, members names, ages, contact telephone number and the date of your visit to the White Pine Bush Guardian Post to lmcnamara@doc.govt.nz by 4 pm Monday 23 October 2017 to be in the draw to meet a real live kiwi.

Terms & Conditions:
- Competition runs until the end of Conservation Week 2017 – Sunday 22 October 2017. Team details to be emailed to lmcnamara@doc.govt.nz by 4pm Monday 23 October 2017 to be in the draw to meet a real live kiwi.
- On entering the compeition, children under 16 years of age must have received a parent’s or guardian’s consent to participate.
- All terms and conditions for the Toyota Kiwi Guardians programme http://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/places-to-go/toyota-kiwi-guardians/claim-your-kiwi-guardians-medal/activity-medal/terms-and-conditions/ apply.
- The prize will be a kiwi encounter for four people (must include at least one parent/guardian if participants under 16) at the Pan Pac Kiwi Creche at Lake Opouahi, Tutira.
- Prize trip will be organised between December 2017 and end of January 2018. The time and date of the visit will be subject to the scheduling of the kiwi health check by Pan Pac Kiwi Creche staff at the site.
- Winners will be notified by Monday 30 October 2017.
- Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- If the prize winners are not able to attend, the prize will be redrawn.
