Join us this Saturday night, at Hennessy's Bar (in what was the former Jubilee Deli & Cafe) for inspirational speeches from three champion kiwi sports representatives, a Q&A session and a fundraising auction.

Hear the amazing exploits of World Champion rower Nathan Twaddle; Commonwealth-bound javelin thrower, Ben Langton Burnell (Javman), and Olympic skeleton racer/Rotorua Labour candidate, Ben Sandford (see speaker details below)!

Tickets are on the door, with a cash bar and a drink on entry. It promises to be a night of fun, politics, sport and art, all in the name of supporting Ben to create change in 2017!

Nathan Twaddle, MNZM - From Whakatane, is a kiwi rower who has won medals at numerous world championships (inc gold in 2005) and competed at the 2008 Olympics (with George Bridgewater), winning bronze.

Ben Langton Burnell is a rising kiwi javelin thrower who holds the world record for throwing a mobile phone the length of an athletics field. He has a personal best of 80.38 metres and has qualified for next year's Commonwealth Games.

Ben Sandford A former Rotorua Boys' High School student, Ben became a kiwi skeleton racer who competed in the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics, as well as winning bronze at the World Championships in 2012. He now stands for Rotorua, as Labour's candidate for the 2017 general election.
