A documentary film by Hilary Bain and Åsa Mark with community extras - seed swap and chat with refreshments.

This is the story of how corporate agribusiness is taking over the world’s food production revealed through historical archival footage and shows how this system is destroying people’s health, economics and the ecology of the world.

Filmed on location in India, USA, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia The Worm Is Turning shows through amazing examples of ecological farming that in fact, small ecological farms are more productive, they can feed more people better, and at the same time restore the environment.

Ecological Farming is The Real Revolution.

Promoted jointly by Hokitika's Green Team and Hokitika's Regent Theatre, there will be a seed swap before the film and time for a cuppa and chat about the film and local environmental issues generally.

Usual theatre prices apply (in advance or on the door), and gold coin please for the tea and biscuits afterwards.

Bring your spare collected seeds for the seed swap!
