Unplug the mic, tease your tresses and don’t go easy on the eyeliner. It’s a lip-smackingly, mouth-mashingly, good ol’ campy time: it’s The Wellington Lip-Sync Battles: All Stars Edition! A live, full-throttle lip-sync competition unlike any other … except for the TV show … and RuPaul’s Drag Race. Look, it’s a fun concept, okay. Sue us. (Please don’t though.)

Our ‘All Stars’ Edition is exactly that! This November, the capital’s most hilarious comedians, dragsters, vaudevillians and theatre trash will mime, mug and mash their mouths together in pursuit of a shitty plastic trophy and the not-even-slightly coveted title of Wellington’s Lip Sync Champion!

8 pm, Saturday, November 4th, The Fringe Bar
$15 on Eventfinda
$20 on the door

Line-up TBA!

Produced and MC’d by clown-in-a-gown Fanciforia Foxglove and over-enthusiastic gender-mess, Hugo Grrrl. Neither can’t sing for sheisser but well-and-truly over-compensate with fishnets, feathers, and devotion.

Graphic design by Pip Clark.

Play It Forward Tickets:
Got a bit of extra cash?
Can’t come to the show but want to support it?
Then this is the option for you! Buy a Play It Forward ticket and a seat will be donated to a local young person who otherwise wouldn’t be able to see the show. This feature is facilitated by the generous help of several wonderful Wellingtonian charities. Spread the creative love!
