"I speak for the trees."

These July school holiday's don't miss the New Zealand premiere of 'The Lorax and the Moneybags', direct from the stages of New York City! The Lorax is the original eco warrior and his message rings loud today.

In this adaption of the modern fable about destroying our forests, the Lorax tries to save the beautiful Truffula trees from the greedy Moneybag's axe - who is set on mass-marketing the trees into "Thneeds." The Lorax is not only an ecological warning but also speaks to the dark side of "free enterprise" at it most greedy state.

Featuring a cast of talented 8-16-year-olds from Hawkins Youth Theatre Company, this theatrical treat is full of song, dance, live music and delicious Dr. Seuss rhymes. It will delight and inspire audiences of all ages to take action!
