Feilding! We're bringing you live stand-up comedy, featuring some of Manawatu's emerging comedic talent!

After a hugely successful first show back in July, The Comedy Hub returns to Stockyard at Denbigh, this time with legendary Wellington MC Ants Heath at the helm.

Also featured in the show are two Feilding based performers, Sinéad O’Connell and Tito, as well as Justin Ngai and Stephanie Hedges from Palmerston North.

Ants has spent the last seventeen years working extensively in corporate entertainment, street and live theatre. A fearless performer who’s not afraid of tackling any issue, he’ll have the audience in stitches with his stories and blunt assessment of life around him. Always keen for a laugh, he'll entertain and maybe even slightly educate you with stories of a life spent bouncing around New Zealand and his observations of the country we call home.

Sinéad moved to Friendly Feilding from Auckland to become a property mogul. A Jack of all trades, she currently works as a Barber, has a background in Film and TV, and by that we mean she literally makes the backgrounds. She is often mistaken for Sinéad O'Connor, but nothing compares to her. Nothing is going to stop this frank performer, Lez-be-honest.

Tito hosted the last show at Stockyard and he returns this time as a brand-new father. His fifth child arrived five and a half weeks earlier than planned, which caused some challenges but ever the joker, he’s got a funny story or two to tell about this experience. He’s committed to comedy; his wife just wishes he showed this much commitment to his family.

With a Masters in Philosophy, Justin is both blessed and cursed by his ability to justify pretty much anything. He has legions of fangirls and fanboys alike, constantly knocking on the front door of his imagination. He often asks Aphrodite 'why he was chosen to be the vessel of these good looks' — he never asked to be beautiful. If only they would leave him alone to play video games in peace.

Stephanie likes Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain. She spends more time online than she should, and makes a lot of obscure references. She can read minds. Well, her flatmate's mind, which freaks him out. She's 1/4 magician on her mum's side, but doesn't have the hand-eye coordination to master sleight of hand.

Earlybird tickets are $15 and are available from Eventfinda or pop into Stockyard and pick them up from there. Door sales on the night are $20.
