Get the kids exploring, discovering and playing these school holidays with Sport Bay of Plenty's Virtually on Track goose chase.
This fun activity is an app based amazing race where teams of 1-10 people complete physical and mental ‘missions’, collecting points and competing against other teams for the top score.
From posing with wildlife and finding certain types of native plants, goose chase missions provide a fun and exciting way to engage with local parks and reserves.
The game is available for the duration of the school holidays from 9am Friday 14th and closing 7:30pm Sunday 30th April, providing you with the freedom to complete the game at a time that suits you, your friends and family.
You only need one person per team to download the app and create an account.
A representative from Sport BOP will be at the Redwoods between 10am and 12pm on Wednesday April 19th to assist with the game if required.
goosechase is free to download for both apple and Android devices from the app store. Download the app, create an account, search 'Sport BOP Redwoods discovery', create a team and start playing once the game goes live.
As well as The Redwoods, the goosechase challenge is also being run at McLaren Falls Park, Tauranga, and Fairbrother Loop Track, Ohope Beach.
