All Ages

With Spring just around the corner, now is the perfect time to pick up some tips about growing your own organic produce.

Come along to our Seed workshop, where you can learn how to sow a seed to grow your own seedlings, and how to save seed for next year too!

The workshop will be run by Dr Robin Gardner-Gee, who ran our last workshop on creating healthy soil. The crops covered in the workshop will be tomatoes and beans.

Dr Gardner-Gee has a PhD in Ecology from the University of Auckland, worked as an Applied Entomologist at Plant and Food Research, and is currently involved in urban permaculture and community organic gardening.

To book, contact: Victoria.Barrett@ccsDisabilityAction.org.nz

Entry is Koha. All workshop proceeds go to supporting the Dig It! Royal Oak Organic Garden.
