We start with open mic from 4pm and as we're coming up to the general election, feel free to bring along something with a political theme. Our guests will perform from 5pm. Poet

Tim Jones was awarded the NZ Society of Authors Janet Frame Memorial Award for Literature in 2010. His latest poetry collection is New Sea Land (Mākaro Press, 2016) and he was the guest poet in takahē 89 (April 2017). Poet Harvey Molloy is a writer, reviewer and teacher. His latest poetry collection is Udon by The Remarkables (Mākaro Press, 2016). His work has also been published in numerous journals and magazines in New Zealand and overseas. Musician Paul Stewart has been playing music since he was 10 years old. He mixes ambience, looping, folk stylings and rhythmic propulsion to create a full and textured sound using just a guitar, amp and effects pedals.
