In conjunction with National Poetry Day, we are celebrating some great poetry collections by Landing Press and Escalator Press!

Come into the National Library and drop a word relating to the sea (plus your name and contact details) into our giant origami boat on display.

You will get an instant prize of an individually-wrapped biscuit and a poem from one of two new collections of poetry, Keel & Drift by Adrienne Jansen and Everything is here by Rob Hack.

Once done, you will go in the draw to win dinner for two on a boat in Mana, or copies of these amazing collections.

At the end of the day, our poets will use everyone’s submissions to create an entirely new poem that will be posted on Facebook, as well as the Landing Press and Escalator Press websites.
