An active and creative approach to Shakespeare’s language!
Discover the Pop-up Globe’s approach to performing Shakespeare in the playhouse conditions for which Shakespeare wrote.
These 90 minute workshops engage students with Shakespeare’s text in a practical and dynamic way and can be designed for primary to university aged students. The workshops will explore ways in which to connect with the characters and explore audience engagement on our unique Pop-up Globe stage. Each session includes a tour of the Pop-up Globe theatre.
A minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 students can be accommodated in each workshop, and a minimum of two teachers are required. When booking, please specify the year group of your class and the play from the Pop-up Globe 2017 season you would like to work on.
Only purchase one group ticket per group session.
Workshops are led by Pop-up Globe Company members, all of whom have first-hand experience of Pop-up Globe’s rehearsal room practice as assistant directors or theatre education specialists.
Capacity is limited and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so book your tickets now. Please wear appropriate, comfortable clothing for the workshops.
