Join us for the Japanese Film Evenings for 2017!

Japanese films shown at the University of Waikato are usually screened on the first Wednesday of the month from 7:00pm and are preceded by a documentary about Japanese culture from 6:45pm.

All films have English subtitles. Booking is not necessary. Films, dates and times are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances so please contact us to confirm details.

We hope that you will enjoy the films and gain a deeper insight into various aspects of Japanese society.

The April screening "Robo-G" at the University of Waikato is being postponed from Thursday 13 April due to closure of the University campus because of the severe weather warnings for a cyclone. The new time for the showing is next Thursday 20 April at 7pm in Lecture Theatre K.G.01, The University of Waikato.
