Come and Ride the Rail on the sparkling new 'Sam Mac' – a replica of KiwiRail's diesel engine, and many more beautiful miniature steam, electric trains and visit the all new 'Train Stop'.

Come and see all the Garden Model Trains displayed in the Historic ANZAC Hall and whilst there, view the children's colouring in competition in the Historic Kiwi Hall - a free competition for 3-12 years; have your say as to who wins the generous prizes by voting for your picture of choice.

Story telling for all ages starts at 11am and is well worth taking a few minutes to be enthralled and while at the Historic ANZAC and KIWI Halls listen to JNX BAND's soft, melodious music of the 60s.

Down in Clifford Square Ride the Rail on your favourite train. Then have fun in John's Entertainment area – there will be a lot to do! Try to outwit Linda's laughing clowns then continue on down Clifford Square and stop at the arena, here you will see demonstrations.

Moving along, stop and admire the future: take time to experience a flying drone. The Wairarapa Drone Pilots group will be attending to promote and educate on the safe and correct use of Drones.

A great area to chill will be with The Rimutaka Trail Band. Listen and toe tap to live music – a treat not to be missed.

When refreshed move on to Foxie Ally to watch the quirky activities of steampunk with their dispute settling splendid teapot racing. Steampunk commonly features technology out of its time, dresses from costumes borrowed from Victorian/Edwardian periods but 'Blinged Up' with decorations, gadgets and weapons. Splendid teapot racing is New Zealand's gift to the world!

Move on further and the Featherston Fire Brigade will be there to show you 'how to put out a kitchen fire' – this definitely needs a visit! It is a wake-up call.

Wander the stalls around Birdwood Boulevard and Foxie Ally and whilst there treat yourself to some tasty food.

Continue on to the Featherston Town Centre and participate in a Medieval Spectacle. To top it all off the Society for Creative Anachronism will stage a medieval shooting: An armoured Medieval Knight 'with attitude' will stand and you will have an opportunity to bring him down! The show covers the European from 600AD to 1600 in Europe. Members dress the part so you may see Viking Warriors, Italian Elizabethan Ladies and Anglo Saxon Maidens.

Wander the stalls of Wairarapa Clubs, Societies, Assn and Organisations. There are many activities to enjoy in the Wairarapa.
