Virtuoso Strings is coming to Auckland, and we want to celebrate New Zealand’s finest talent with you. Join us, and the below artists for a fun evening for the whole family.

Ria Hall:
Ria Hall is an exciting voice on the contemporary New Zealand music landscape. Creatively informed by west coast hip-hop, vintage reggae, classic soul, dancehall ragga and modern beat music, she presents a fresh and vibrant perspective as both a young Māori woman and as a cutting edge, 21st-century singer and artist.

Lisa Tomlins:
Lisa is a professional singer with over 20 years experience in the music industry working with the likes of Fly My Pretties, Hollie Smith, Shapeshifter, Fat Freddie's Drop, Sola Rosa and Rhombus.

Wini Baxter:
Wini Baxter is a professional vocalist who has worked with a range of artists and bands, most notably The Pink Floyd Experience, as well as Iva Lankum, Hollie Smith, Sasha V, Rosita Vai, Bella Kalolo and TJ Taotua.

Club Manouche:
Somewhere between Gypsy and Jazz with a strong swing feel, the band performs as a trio of bass, rhythm guitar, and a soloist- sometimes with a gypsy violin!

Virtuoso Strings Youth Orchestra will also be performing a mixture of classical music, pop, rock, and a few familiar film tunes.

If you don't know anything about us, you can watch a small segment where we were recently featured on Seven Sharp here: https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/magic-music-has-changed-these-porirua-childrens-lives-v1), and look us up on Facebook.

We are coming all the way from Porirua, Wellington, so we would love to see you in the crowd to support our youth orchestra. This is the perfect chance for you and your family to come and get a taste for what is happening on the New Zealand music scene, and support a great cause!

Lastly, we are fundraising for the trip currently, so if you want to support us, go to: https://www.boosted.org.nz/projects/virtuoso-strings-orchestra
