Ever wondered about the story of your house? Expert presenters from Heritage New Zealand, Archives New Zealand, Wellington City Library, Wellington City Archives, the National Library, Victoria School of Architecture and a heritage consultant will look at the various go-to sources, from land deeds to building and architectural plans, wills, photographs, old newspapers, correspondence files, QVs and rates records. Our presenters will outline the resources available and show you how and where to look.

This workshop provides a great opportunity for the general public and property owners to learn about land records, on-line resources, and various other tools, and information needed to help understand properties.

Heritage New Zealand's Central Region team is pleased to facilitate this workshop because there is growing interest throughout the country in knowing how to bring all this information together. Includes morning tea on arrival.

This is the same workshop postponed from September last year.

For more information call or email David Watt, Central Region Area Coordinator on 04 494 8322 or 027 2466 339; email dwatt@heritage.org.nz
