The Registered Master Builders Carters 2017 Apprentice of the Year competition received over 160 entries from across NZ. After regional judging in July and August the top 10 will go head to head on 3 November for the sought-after title and a share of more than $100,000 worth of prizes!

Registered Master Builders Apprentice of the Year, in association with Carters, recognises excellence among carpentry apprentices and raises awareness of career opportunities in the building and construction industry. It’s a competition that looks to test several aspects of a well-rounded apprentice, not just their skills on the tools.

Co-located at Auckland Build Expo 2017, on Friday 3 November the 10 regional winners will compete in final judging which culminates in a practical head to head building challenge. The challenge takes place in Hall 2 at ASB Showgrounds and is open to the public from 8am-1pm.

Come and support the Apprentices and check out all the action on the 3rd!

The Auckland Build Expo 2017 takes place on 2nd & 3rd November in Hall 3 and Hall 4. The exhibition covers construction opportunities, both non-commercial and commercial, in Auckland and New Zealand.

It is the ideal opportunity for your organisation to gain access to all the latest construction projects and solutions in Auckland and across the country; plus the opportunity to network with thousands of attendees from contractors, developers, architects, government and other construction industry professionals.
