2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the most legendary ocean liner of our time.

Launched in 1967 by HM. The Queen, the QE2 become the most travelled ship in history. Throughout her long 39 1/2 year career, QE2 carried 2.5 million passengers an unprecedented 5.6 million nautical miles.

QE2 was the last of the transatlantic ocean liners built in Great Britain. She carried the baton alone until the advent of QM2 in 2004 and in doing so, QE2 became a household name.

Join maritime author and QE2 expert Chris Frame for a journey through the illustrious history of QE2, covering her design and construction, service in the Falklands War, illustrious passenger career and eventual retirement.
