Geshe Jampa Tharchin is visiting Wellington and Kapiti again and will give a public talk on Friday evening about the role of Buddhism in the 21st Century.

What can a 2500-year-old tradition contribute to our modern lives? Described as a science of the mind rather than a religion, Buddhism uses reason, investigation and a logical approach to understanding reality. Explore techniques to maximise our minds, and correct the misconceptions that are the basis of destructive emotions, stress, depression and loneliness. Intelligently transform your emotions, enhance compassion and improve your life.

All welcome, no prior knowledge necessary. Entry by donation, Suggested $10 cash at door.
