Wanna tell the world you’re a 'World Record Holder'? Here's your chance...

Palmy wants to set the World Record for the World's Largest Scrum. But... we need people! Lots of people! More than 1,565 in order to break the record currently held by Fukuroi in Japan. Come and be part of this record-breaking attempt.

Entry to the event will be via the Featherston Street, If you are wanting to participate please arrive early to register. Record attempt will take place at 1:30pm.

Palmy's the home of New Zealand rugby! We’ve got New Zealand’s only Rugby Museum, The NZ Sport and Rugby Institute and many international Rugby Stars were born here! The World Record Attempt is part of the city's three-day Winter Festival. It's a festival for locals, visiting Lions tour spectators, the World in Union Conference attendees and well, anyone.
