If you have a fancy camera and you need a hand to learn how to use it, this is ideal for you. Come and learn how to take low light photographs!

I have run lots of these PhotoWalks (totally free of charge) around New Zealand and overseas to help people get better at photography. If you're using your camera on auto, you need to come along and join in with us on this PhotoWalk.

I haven't seen the Len Lye Centre yet, so I'm super excited to get to New Plymouth and see this awesome piece of architecture.

After this, you will be able to take nice low light photographs and you'll have a pretty clear understanding of what the vital settings on your camera do.

Before Coming Along: I ask that you please join my free photography course. Here you'll learn a few of the basics that we'll cover on this PhotoWalk. By joining the course, you'll have a head start and will find the PhotoWalk much more enjoyable - http://upanadam.co.nz/learn-photography/

On the evening...
7:30pm - First I'll do an intro and running through a few camera settings that you can try. Then we'll shoot some nice low light shots of the awesome Len Lye centre, capturing some crazy reflections. We'll then walk down to the coast, where I'll set another challenge at about 9pm with moving lights. Normally the PhotoWalks don't go far, but we will all have a huge amount of fun taking some creative pictures.

To Bring:
To see what you need to bring, check out the details on this page - http://upanadam.co.nz/need-bring-photowalk/

Although we'll be meeting at the Len Lye Centre, we'll end up at the park at St Aubyn St, so maybe park there and walk up to the Len Lye. Then you'll end up near your car for an easy get-away at the end of the night.
