For parents, by parents, hosted by Sophie, a local Papatoetoe mum. Single mums are especially welcome.

Want to meet local parents? Chat and find new ways of solving parenting challenges. We don't have to do this all by ourselves.

This is a non-judgemental group which is for local parents with children 0-5 years old.

Morning tea is provided.

SKIP and the Auckland Women's Centre help support parents meeting up on a regular basis in their neighbourhoods, creating and strengthening informal support networks. SKIP focuses on families with children under 5 years old and the principles are so good that they can be used with any age group and in any relationship.

Getting together is one of the best ways to gain parenting support and strategies to raise our children in a loving and nurturing home. There is a lot of free SKIP positive parenting booklets, posters, magnets, wall friezes for you to take home too.

To register please contact Sophie: 021-217-9433 or Email: Rochelle - skip@womenz.org.nz.
