Mark your calendars me' hearties, and come together for some free adventures at the Panmure Basin Fun Day!

There will be events and activities for all ages, including some great prizes to be won.

RaiseUp Panmure will have music and activities all afternoon, and there's the Panmure Skate Competition, with some great prizes up for grabs.

The Open Fort Pirate Trail will be a great adventure, including pirate treasure (prizes) from the New Zealand Maritime Museum and Panmure Business Association.

Rainbow Rascals Face & Body Art will be painting faces, and the Panmure Community Library will have their bus and Satellite Library on-site.

There's plenty of action for sports fans, with the Panmure Squash Club's mini squash court, and some Inline Hockey action with the Panthers. Play Petanque with the Panmure Pioneers Petanque Club, and join some passing and kicking drills with the Marist Rugby Club. YMCA at Lagoon Pool & Leisure Centre will also be running boxing and Zumba classes

The Auckland Society of Model Engineers will be bringing their model trains, and running rides from 1pm - 4pm (cost of $2 per ride). Drop by the Men’s Shed to make, decorate, and race wooden cars on a custom-built speed track.

This great family day out is supported by local clubs, including the Tamaki Estuary Protection Society Inc, YMCA at Lagoon Stadium, Maungarei cadet unit, Panmure Historic Society, and much more.

This free family fun day has been sponsored by the Mt Wellington Foundation Ltd, Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board, Panmure Business Association, and organised by Fresh Concept.
