Learn the art of improvisational comedy. Gain confidence in everyday life while having fun! Rooted in traditional theatre, this type of improvisation focuses on character and scene development. These classes will help unlock participants' creative abilities and increase performing and public speaking confidence. No prior experience necessary.

The class is on a drop in basis. Come learn something new each week. Every Wednesday evening starting 27 September

About the instructor:
Sarah Kirwin has been teaching and performing improvisation professionally for 20 years. Most recently Sarah headed the advanced improv program at one of largest theatre complexes in the US, the Denver Centre for Performing Arts. She has taught and performed in places such as New York, Chicago, and Austin. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Sarah was been named Colorado's Best Female Improvisor and has made numerous television and radio appearances. Sarah specializes in Applied Improvisation, teaching communication and leadership skills to professionals and businesses. Sarah recently moved to New Zealand and is excited to share her love and vast knowledge of improv with the Kiwis!
