A humorous musical look back at Radio through the years - focusing on the late 40s through to the 60’s. Local performers showcase songs, skits, old commercials and the inevitable comedy scripts that went to make up “the wireless” - the in-home entertainment system of the day.

Directed by Trish Waters, and ably assisted by Russell Dann and Mary Ruston, this show will feature both the Jazzamatazz choir and solo performers in both musical and comedic settings.

There’ll be characters like Aunt Daisy, The Glums and The Archers, interludes of old News and Weather, Historic Racing and Rugby Commentary, short sharp bursts of ancient Advertising jingles... anyone remembers Chesdale Cheese or the Brylcreem Boys?

Doors open 7pm.
Performance starts at 7:30pm, you will get a seat if you arrive close to 7pm.

The hall is situated up the long driveway, directly next to Domain Park, and there is plenty of well-lit off street parking.

Door sales cash only: Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake available during the break, also bar facilities for cold refreshments throughout the night, Eftpos available for purchases only, no cash-out facility. Please remember to bring your current Folk Club membership card as this is required for new club licensing.
