Libri Lounge: Hit & Run

Dirty Politics author Nicky Hager is returning to the Taranaki Arts Festival to give a behind the scenes look at his latest headline-grabbing book.

The investigative journalist doesn’t shy away from tackling difficult issues and Hit & Run: The New Zealand SAS in Afghanistan and the Meaning of Honour is no exception.

Nicky and co-author Jon Stephenson offer chilling evidence that 21 civilians, including a three-year-old girl, were killed or injured during a botched revenge raid following the death of a Kiwi soldier.

Nicky’s audience can expect a candid session about the claims of a cover-up and the alleged war crimes.

Nicky has written six other best-selling books, probing hard-hitting subjects like New Zealand’s role in the international spy network, an anti-environmental PR campaign, genetic engineering and of course, dirty politics.

To the point: Investigative journalist/feature writer/best-selling author/controversial claims/alleged cover-up.
