Do you want to learn some New Zealand Sign Language and understand a bit more about Deaf community and culture? Join our two-hour session with inspirational Deaf qualified trainer, Victoria Lessing.

Welcome to the wonderful world of New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) where you will use your hands, body and facial expressions to communicate. People use spoken and written languages to relay ideas, feelings, sentiments, share history and culture. Deaf people use sign language in the same ways. An NZSL interpreter will be present as trainer is culturally Deaf uses NZSL during the workshop.

A great professional development opportunity for teachers, managers, staff, customer service staff and families of deaf children to learn basic NZSL and Deaf Culture.
