The New Zealand Nuclear Free Zone 30th anniversary event will be held in Auckland Domain to honour those who work for peace. The Peace Foundation in association with Waitemata Local Board and Auckland Mayor for Peace Phil Goff will unveil a plaque beside the Pohutukawa Peace tree which is behind the museum to mark the occasion.

There will be live music, speeches and the formation of a giant human peace symbol as a message of support for the historic Nuclear Weapons Ban Treaty being negotiated at the United Nations this month. New Zealanders can stand tall together as a Nuclear Free Peacemaker nation.
