This Exhibition will also open to the public on Friday 24th Febraury from 10am to 5pm at the Lighting Studio, Level A, Te Ara Hihiko, Massey University Wellington.

Naoko Tosa, this year’s Japan Cultural Envoy, is an internationally renowned Japanese new media artist. Her works have been collected by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the National Museum of Art in Osaka, among others.

On display will be two digital works by Naoko Tosa: 'Genesis' and 'Organic Geometry'. In both works, she magnifies the intermixing of traditional Japanese pigments mobilised by viscous fluids and dry ice using cutting-edge technology to create an immersive experience out of phenomena normally invisible to the human eye.

She will transform the College of Creative Art’s lighting studio into an environment that envelopes the viewer in a sensual exploration of materials and temporality via digital technology.
