Screening: School of Music Festival.

Pertinent for performers and anyone with an interest in the complexities of anxiety, this documentary, directed by John Beder, explores ways in which performance anxiety can be both experienced and addressed.

Providing a profoundly moving exploration into the very real fears of failure and judgement felt by many a performer and average person, Composed opens authentic and compelling conversations concerning the omnipresence of an often debilitating struggle; a valuable resource which will resonate with many.

“Everyone who entered the hall to attend the screening – whether seasoned performers, students or arts managers – left as a different person.” – Andrew Bennett, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony

N.B. Free admission. Online registrations will close 3 hours prior to each event start time. Registrations are recommended, however, not compulsory.

This event is part of the School of Music Festival - a fourteen-day celebration of music at the University of Auckland. The Festival will showcase the School's diverse musical life and give an insight into the day-to-day life of students and staff.
