With over 60 years of collective experience, this vibrant and energetic young string quartet was formed in 2016 as part of the Adam Chamber Music Summer School.

The Troubadour Quartet Internship Programme is a community outreach extension of the Adam Chamber Music Festival.

The quartet is an eclectic group of emerging professionals, aspiring to grow their skills and enthusiasm for chamber music, who were brought together by the Adam Summer School.

First violinist Arna Morton hails from Christchurch and is currently a PhD Music Performance candidate, Academic Assistant, and Australian Postgraduate Award recipient at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. She is joined by Melburnian Rebecca Wang on the second violin, who is completing her Bachelor of Music with Honours at the Melbourne Conservatorium under the tutelage of Wilma Smith.

Rebecca also teaches violin with a studio of twenty young students. Elyse Dalabakis arrived in Wellington to complete her Master of Music and PhD at the NZSM, following undergraduate viola studies in the USA. On top of her studies, Elyse is also a member of Orchestra Wellington and Congress Manager of the 2017 International Viola Congress.

The group is completed by Anna-Marie Alloway on cello who completed her Bachelor of Music with Honours at the NZSM, and the founder of New Zealand's pioneering music studio on wheels known as The Little Cello Box that delivers cello lessons to young students in Auckland and Hamilton.

The Troubadour Quartet also performed as featured festival artists alongside the Goldner Quartet and the New Zealand String Quartet in the 2017 Adam Chamber Music Festival.
